Editorial policy · Updated 30 August 2026

Useful first. Accurate always. Transparent about the difference.

This policy explains who is responsible for our guides, how we handle evidence and experience, and what we do when something needs to change.

Who creates the guides

Create Great Events Ltd is the named editorial author of the resource library. The methodology is built from the event systems developed by Greatdorlin Wisdom and Crystal Nyarko, co-authors of Your Next Great Event.

How we decide what to publish

We publish material that helps an organiser make a real decision: define an audience, build a plan, improve registration, market an event, create sponsor value, assign ownership, deliver with more control or extend value after the event.

We do not publish pages merely to repeat a keyword. Each guide must have a clear search intent, a practical job and a legitimate relationship to our event-planning expertise.

Experience, evidence and outside sources

Our frameworks and recommendations are clearly presented as practical guidance. When a claim depends on changing law, platform policy, safety guidance, statistics or third-party research, we aim to use a current primary or authoritative source and link to it where it helps the reader verify the claim.

Our guides are educational and do not replace legal, financial, health, safety or other regulated professional advice.

Book comparisons and commercial transparency

Create Great Events publishes Your Next Great Event. When it appears in a recommendation or comparison, we disclose that relationship prominently. We compare books by the job each is designed to do and do not accept payment for placement in our editorial lists.

Updates and corrections

Every guide displays a visible update date. We review a guide when our methodology changes, a linked source materially changes or a correction is needed. We do not change dates simply to make old content look new.

If you find an error, unclear statement or broken source, email hello@creategreatevents.com with the page URL and the point that needs review.

AI-assisted production

Tools may support drafting, structure, accessibility checks, quality assurance or technical publishing. Create Great Events remains responsible for the final claims, framing, disclosures and published output. We do not treat automated text generation as evidence.
